The A’ Design Award & Competition is an annual international design competition covering more than 100 creative fields. Entries are evaluated by an international jury of academics, design professionals and press members, with awarded work promoted through exhibitions, publications and media activity. The 2026-2027 edition is accepting entries, and designers can
register and nominate their work here.
Packaging is one of the competition’s most varied categories. It brings together graphic identity, structural design, materials, production and the practical demands of protecting and presenting a product. The A’ Packaging Design Award considers work across food and drink, cosmetics, retail products and other consumer goods. Details on eligibility and nominations are available on the
category nominations page, while the full programme can be explored through the
A’ Design Award categories list.
The selection below brings together 20 awarded packaging projects from previous editions. The projects range from restrained bottle systems to colourful limited editions, showing how packaging can communicate origin, character and product information without losing sight of function.
Awarded designers receive a package of services intended to help present their work to a wider audience. Depending on the award level and category, this can include exhibition opportunities, inclusion in the annual yearbook, press materials, use of the winner logo, participation in design rankings and an invitation to the gala night in Italy.
The late submission deadline for the 2026-2027 edition is February 28, 2027, and results will be announced on May 1, 2027. More awarded projects can be viewed at
DesignMag, and further information about the competition is available from the
A’ Design Award website. Designers interested in taking part can
register their work online.
