The Super South Poster Design Competition 2027 is an international poster competition inviting designers, artists, architects, students, innovators and other creative thinkers to explore the future of sustainable innovation. Participants are asked to visualise technologies, systems, communities and ideas that could contribute to a more resilient, prosperous and sustainable future.
The 2027 brief, Forging the Future We Imagine, asks entrants to consider what progress could look like and what gives them hope for the future. Suggested directions include invention and action, relationships between nature, people and technology, circularity, regenerative approaches, new energy, mobility, and healthy people and planet. Shortlisted posters will appear in an online gallery, while finalist designs will be presented at the Super South Summit in Atlanta and at selected exhibitions around the world.
Entries must be vertical posters measuring 24 × 36 inches, or 60.96 × 91.44 cm, and submitted as CMYK-compatible, print-ready PDF files at 300 DPI with a maximum size of 10 MB. Each designer may submit work developed since January 2026. Photography is not accepted. The jury will assess originality, creativity, visual impact, conceptual strength, communication of the theme and overall execution.
Entry fee: US$25 for up to three poster submissions.
