Organised by the Industrial Design Centre of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Typography Day will feature a day of workshops on Typography and Calligraphy followed by two days of conference dedicated to Typography and Education.
Beside workshops and conference, Typography Day will also host a Poster Design Competition. This year’s theme is "The Sacred and Typography,". Participants are called to design a poster exploring and experimenting with Typography.
Each participant is allowed a maximum of three entries, that can contain:
• The Language, Script and Typeface of your choice. You can make use of one letter, one word, many words or even a paragraph composed of words that express ‘Sacred’.
• Calligraphic or digitally created letterforms or existing fonts, or a combination of these can be used for the poster.
There is no entry fee.

Open to anyone worldwide.
Prize
Winning entries will be published as a book and displayed in an exhibition during the Typography Day 2023 event (7th–9th December, 2023 in Varanasi in India). Winners are entitled to free participation during the Typography Seminar and Workshop. Also, each of the winning participants will receive one copy of the book and will also be given the Certificate of Winning the Poster Competition.
