is proud to announce the fifteenth edition of its

International Contest for Illustrators

.

The theme for this year is

SUPER

. Super can mean many things... And you are free to choose the meaning you like best.

Any work must be square-shaped, not smaller than

25x25

centimetres and not bigger than

40x40

centimetres. If it is put in a frame this should not be thicker than 3 millimetres. In case of a digital image it should be

31x31

centimetres (

300 dpi – JPG format – best quality

).

Any medium and technique are allowed

. Every candidate is allowed to submit only one brand-new work. Works which have been awarded prizes or merits previously will not be accepted.

Entry fee is 15 EUR (

approx. 17.50 USD

).

Eligibility

Open worldwide to anyone. There is no age limit, however underage candidates need parents' authorization.

Prize

The jury – presided this year by

Bruno Bozzetto

– will decree the winner of the first prize of

2,500 EUR

(

approx. 2,775 USD

). A jury will select 48 works to be published in the catalogue and to be displayed in the exhibition. Among the 48 works selected, 12 will also be published on the calendar.

Moreover, all the registered subscribers will also be able to express their preferential votes. The artist who will get most of the votes will be awarded a

500 EUR

prize (

approx. 555 USD

).
