3x3 International Illustration Awards Show 2017

deadline: March 31, 2017

3x3 magazine is entering its fourteenth year judging the world's best contemporary illustration. Their mission is to spotlight the best contemporary international artists they can find and encourage a new focus on the use of illustration by the global editorial, advertising and design communities.

There are three main categories:

• Professional Show
• Picture Book Show

The goal is to bring together artists from all countries to share their creative output in an impartial judging scenario. All judging is done digitally by a set of unbiased judges; if a particular judge has either commissioned the work or has been the illustrator they are not allowed to vote on their entry.

A Series entry must have a central consistent theme, i.e. editorial article, sequential comic, book. All series will be judged as a whole. There is no limit to how many pieces you may enter, and you can enter a piece in multiple categories.
