The Little Hakka International Picture Book Competition aims at encouraging and rewarding all the publishing agencies and individuals who devote themselves to the creations of Picture Book, and also aims at exploring some talents and awesome works from home and abroad as well as creating more opportunities for the international exchange and cooperation among publishers, picture book authors and illustrators.

• Theme Group: New Stories of Little Hakka / Existing Stories of Little Hakka
Your entry should be created or first published between January 2014 and August 2017. The participants can be any publishing agencies, corporations or individuals. No limitation to the number of the entries, but each entry should include at least five images.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
Opens to publishers, illustrators, creative institutions, teachers and students worldwide.

Grand Prix (1): 30,000 RMB (approx. 4,500 USD)
Best of the Best (5): 6,000 RMB (approx. 900 USD) each
• Children’s Group
Grand Prix (1): 10,000 RMB (approx. 1,500 USD)
Best of the Best (5): 2,000 RMB (approx. 300 USD) each
• Theme Group
Little Hakka Award (1): 100,000 RMB (approx. 15,010 USD)
Merit Award (10): 5,000 RMB (approx. 750 USD) each
About 20-30% works will enter the shortlist. All the entries on the shortlist will be exhibited. All the winners and those whose works are exhibited will get certificates.
