PigPrints is inviting artists and art students from all over the world to submit their work for its 2022 Residency Prize competition. The purpose of this prize is to give an individual artist the possibility of producing a limited edition etching and add their work to the existing list of artists that are already part of the gallery.
The selected artist will also be invited to spend a 2-week residency period in Milan to produce other work in the PigPrints printshop.
Artists are required to submit original black and white drawings (pen, pencil, charcoal, watercolor etc.), in view of producing an etching. It is not required for the entrants to have previous knowledge of intaglio techniques.
Every artist can submit up to 3 entries.
Entry fee starts from 15 EUR per entry or 25 EUR for up to three entries.

Prize
The winner will be awarded a 1500 EUR monetary Prize and an invitation for a 2-week residency in Milan (worth 750 EUR) between March and December 2022.
