Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2022

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize has an established reputation as the UK’s most important annual exhibition of drawing. It is not specified what constitutes a drawing or what media drawings are made in, as the exhibition aims to represent contemporary drawing practice and is open to how drawing is defined and made.

One can apply for the main exhibition and awards or for the Working Drawing Award, celebrating and promoting the role of drawing within architecture, design and making process.

Drawings made since January 2021 only are eligible for entry. Up to three drawings may be entered by each applicant. Work should not exceed 2.4m in any dimension when framed.

Entry fee starts from 15 GBP (approx. 18.50 USD).

Eligibility


Open to all emerging, mid-career and established drawing practitioners from the UK and internationally.

Prize


First Prize: 8,000 GBP, Second Prize: 5,000 GBP, Student Award: 2,000 GBP, Working Drawing Award: 2,000 GBP. The shortlist and award winners will be revealed at the Exhibition Launch and Awards Announcement at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London, on the evening of 28 September 2022.
