Compost Awareness Week Poster Contest 2021

People from all over the world are invited to the annual International Compost Awareness Week Poster Contest.

International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) is the largest and most comprehensive education initiative of the compost industry. It is celebrated nationwide and in other countries each year during the first full week of May. The goal of the program is to raise the awareness of the public regarding the benefits of using compost to improve or maintain high-quality soil, to grow healthy plants, reduce the use of fertilizer and pesticides, improve water quality and protect the environment.

This year's participants are encouraged to submit a design that reflects the theme “Grow, Eat…COMPOST…Repeat”

The poster must include the words "International Compost Awareness Week May 2 - 8, 2021" and the concept and images of the poster should be based on the benefits of compost. The judges will especially look for images that demonstrate that organic materials are a key component to healthy soils and for keeping soils and the environment healthy in the future.

Entries are limited to one submission per artist.

There is no entry fee.

Eligibility


Open to anyone worldwide aged 14 years or older.

Prize


The overall winner will receive a 500 USD prize.
