is calling submissions of digital and computer-based works for the dARTboard online art space, launched in 2012 to celebrate the accomplishments of immigrant artists pioneering the field of new media art.

The Vilcek Foundation aims to raise public awareness of the contributions of immigrants to the sciences, arts, and culture in the United States. The Foundation was established in 2000 by

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be foreign-born (originally foreign citizens) and be permanent U.S. residents (green card holders) or naturalized U.S. citizens.

Prize

Vilcek Prize winners each receive

$100,000

and a trophy, uniquely designed for each winner by

Stefan Sagmeister

. The Foundation presents the Vilcek Prizes in an award ceremony held early in spring, in New York City.
