FabAllThings

, an online platform for design lovers and makers, is organising a new design call. Members can submit designs, everyone votes, and then

FabAllThings

will make and sell the winning entries, splitting the profits with the selected designers.

In this call for entries they are looking for new designs for

Coasters

and

Tablemat

sets. Submission can be in any form:

Sketches

•

Photos

•

Drawings

•

Graphics

When submitting a design note that

FabAllThings

will be using lasercutting and etching on

3.2mm

thick cherry veneer composite to make these coasters and tablemats. Please also remember that engraving on wood comes up black.

The coasters and tablemats may be any shape. Max dimensions for an individual table mat:

30cm

square. Max for an individual coaster:

10cm

square.

Entrants keep the intellectual property rights of their design.

There is no entry fee

Eligibility

This design call is open to everyone worldwide.

Prize

The top voted submission when voting closes will receive a prize of

150 Euro

.

If the design is manufacturable, the designer will have the option of partnering with

FabAllThings

and receiving

royalties on the sales

of their design.

FabAllThings

will also choose a number of wildcards, who will also have the option of partnering with company and receiving royalties on the sales of their design.
