is a new international competition to produce ceramic artefacts during an on-site residency close to Florence (Italy).

Everyday Objectâ€.
Ceramics have been furnishing our lives forever and
Montelupo Ceramics Awardis meant to emphasize not only ceramic as a material designated to the creation of precious, exclusive and purely contemplative works, but also the ceramics artefact’s design as a daily life object and its reproducibility that takes centre stage in everyone’s daily life.
Participation to the award is open to individuals (
singularly or in groups).
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
Open worldwide to young creatives between the ages of 18 and 35.
Prize
The prize money, given according to the jury’s unquestionable opinion, will be distributed as follows:
• 1st Prize:
2.500 EUR+ on site residency + artifact production
• 2nd Prize:
1.500 EUR+ artifact production
• 3rd Prize: production of artifact
Prize money is in cash and gross of taxes/withholding tax if required. It will be paid within the month of
January 2019.
