The
NY Product Design Awardswas launched to honor the efforts of talented product designers, design teams, and manufacturers from all over the world, whose designs have made daily living that much better with their practical and ingenious creations.
Recognizing that excellence exists in various forms in the design industry, the NY Product Design Awards intends to celebrate excellence in all its facets that are found in design work and its designers.
A well-thought-out design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and all-in-all improves one’s daily life. Said designs can stem from different people’s personal projects, commercial engagements or researches.
There are 16 different categories.
Entry fee starts from 89 USD
(Early Bird until Aug 25, 2021).
Eligibility
Open worldwide to anyone with a great new product design. This includes designs purposed for any function, commercial or otherwise. Entries must fall within a 5-year window from their creation
(2017 to present).
Prize
Out of all the entries that scored highest in their own respective categories, only ONE will be granted the honorary title of "Product Design of the Year". Created as a way to honor and recognize excellent product designs, the title is awarded to the year’s best product in a category. Whether the product is aesthetically pleasing, functionally ingenious, or conceptually revolutionary, it is ultimately a result of remarkable design quality.
