is a project to promote the art of printmaking and develop connections between printmakers around the world.
Each artist can submit one piece of work on a paper size of
300mm x 400mm. The print size can be any within the size of the paper. The work must have been made using any traditional printmaking techniques, including:
• Screenprinting • Lithography • Etching • Collagraph • Monotipe • Electro-etching • Laser print • Photopolymer • etc.Digital prints are
notaccepted.
The work must be relatively new, completed in the last couple of years, not before, and not have received a prize before.
The jury will be composed of international artists and professionals of the printmaking world. The jury will choose a shortlist of about 10 artists as well as the winning work.
Entry fee is 25 Euro (
approx. 27 USD). As an agreement with the
Universitat de Barcelona, students from the
Facultat de Belles Arts de Barcelonaare welcome to participate at no cost.

Prize
The shortlisted artists will have their work shown in the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative, (
Chicago, USA), in
July 2017.
An international jury will vote to select the shortlisted artists; the winner will be the artist with the most votes. There will be one award of
1000 Euro(
approx. 1,080 USD) for the winning artist, and a second prize sponsored by
The Awagami Factory, (
Japan), of 50 sheets of eco-friendly Awagami Factory paper, worth
500 Euro(
approx. 540 USD).
