With the aim of becoming a platform for interaction between photography and society, a media connecting authors and audiences, past and present, local traditions and world trends, the

International Festival of Photography PhotoVisa

is striving to the most complete coverage of the entire photographic repertoire ranging from documentary photography to art projects based on photography.

The theme of the contest

The Language of Memory

can be presented by works created with both analogue and digital media, including manipulation of photographic image.

All rights for the works submitted belong to the authors of works.

There is no entry fee

Eligibility

Photographs and multimedia projects created not earlier than

2012

by photographers of any age or nationality are accepted.

Prize

The finalists and winners' exhibition will be open in the framework of the

VII International Festival of photography PhotoVisa

in Krasnodar (

Russia

).

The winners in the nominations

Single Photograph

will be announced at the exhibition opening. The winners in the nominations

Multimedia Project

will be announced at the special multimedia show within films program of the Festival.

Works of the finalists and winners of the contest will be published in the catalogue of the Festival and at the Festival's website.
