is calling on design teams, designers, inventors, students, teachers, research institutes, design departments, architects, engineers, any one with a great design idea to take notice.

, the Red Dot Design Award received more than 16,500 applications from 70 countries in

alone. Making the competition one of the biggest and most prestigeous design awards worldwide.

There are

31 categories

to choose from. The categories are deliberately wide to ensure that your imagination is not limited. Think beyond the conventional list that is provided and define new innovations and explanations.

All kinds of inventions, novelty designs and aesthetic designs that are not in the market, and not produced for sale before

can be entered. All entered works must be the entrant’s own.

The highlight of the competition is the impressive

Awards Ceremony

at the

Red Dot Design Museum

in

Singapore

. Every year, this gala of international design attracts hundreds of guests from the design, media and industry who come to make important contacts. It is a night of celebration and an important highlight in the design calendar.

Entry fees start from 30 SGD (approx. 24 USD).

Eligibility

Any person may participate. Participation extends to all design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors, design students and design professionals from anywhere in the world.
