Founded in
2007, the
Signature Art Prizeis the only award of its kind that aims to promote the work of artists in the very early stages of their careers. Drawing attention to the unique perspective of students and recent graduates, the prize champions their signature themes and aims to bring their work into the spotlight.
There are four categories:

Painting•
Sculpture•
Photography & Film•
Drawing & PrintmakingEntrants may only enter one category. Artists who entered in previous years may enter again, but no work previously submitted is eligible for resubmission.
The
Signature Art Prizeaims to gain maximum exposure for artists and their work, as well as facilitate the sale of entries. As such, artists must determine pricing and edition numbers for all artwork submitted.
Entry fee: £10 (approx. 15 USD)
Eligibility
The prize is open worldwide to current students or artists who graduated no earlier than
2012onwards from a recognised art institution.
Prize
The winners of each category of the Signature Art Prize will each receive a prize of
£1,000(approx. 1,500 USD), gifts from the sponsors, representation from
DegreeArt.comand inclusion in a London group exhibition.
Moreover, there will also be a ‘
People’s Choice’winner from each of the four artwork categories, voted for by the public from all of the competition entrants.
