invites submissions to the third edition of

, a nationwide exhibition in partnership with

that shows the many faces of modern Britain.

is the largest exhibition of contemporary photography ever held, as much a celebration of photography as it is a celebration of British people, calling for pictures that reflect their unique culture and diversity.

You are welcome to submit pictures from every corner of Britain and in every form, from casual snapshots and selfies, to documentary projects. Photographers may submit portraits of family, friends, themselves, or simply people they find interesting. Entries are open to all people and all interpretations of portraiture, provided images have been taken within the United Kingdom since

You may enter as many times as you choose. Portraits can be shot using any camera model (

), and images may be portrait, landscape or square in format. Each image can be a maximum of 5MB in size. All images must be submitted as JPEG files.

to any images entered remain the property of the entrants.
