I was born in Siberia in the north of Russia in the city of Beloyarskiy. Almost immediately after my birth, my mother and father and I moved to Minsk, Belarus, where I grew up. 4 years ago I moved to the city of Sochi in the south of Russia.
I studied at an art gymnasium studying the basics of composition, chromatics, painting and drawing. I studied badly in all subjects that were not interesting to me. I always had the highest marks in art subjects. After school, I did not go to higher education. I spent this time studying design. I did illustrations and designs for parties that were organized by my friends. So I got to know the electronic scene better. Now I sometimes write music myself and perform like a DJ.
Photography is relatively new to me. My main job and hobby was drawing and design. I worked on logos, party posters, graffiti interiors and even working as a tattoo artist. I took a great interest in photography when I was invited to shoot a video for my friends.I used fluorescent paint in markers and an ultraviolet lamp on the girls' bodies to write the lyrics of the song they sang. I was very impressed with the result.
I am an ordinary guy with a standard sexual orientation and I like the elegance of a woman's body very much. That's why my portfolio includes many projects that depict the female body and its parts. I also get a lot of inspiration from nature. Nature is what our universal mother is and we are of course part of it. I often walk in the woods, among the rocks, in the mountains, at sea and so on, and of course I always take pictures of everything that impresses me.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am currently working on the visualization of the cover for a science fiction novel for a New York publishing house. I photographed the girl against a dark background and highlighted her with pink and emerald color. After that I have to draw on her technologically woven strands of hair.
What does a typical working day look like?
Every day I wake up when I feel like I have enough strength to get out of bed and do some business. After breakfast I decide what I do. Sometimes I sit down at once on my computer to continue working on urgent projects, but sometimes I just go for a walk, often with my camera.
I walk a lot or ride a longboard or a moped. I love to drink coffee and twice a day I go to my favorite coffee shop. While I'm drinking coffee, I like to watch various websites that showcase the work of authors from around the world. I'm looking for inspiration by looking at photos, graphic design, illustrations, paintings, architecture, 3D graphics, animation and videos on Behance, Instagram, Ello, Pinterest, Fubiz.
A special place in my life is occupied by listening to music. I listen to a lot of different styles of electronic music from ambient to dark techno.
What tools do you use most for your work?
To create a picture I take pictures on Sony alpha 7R2 and then I edit them in Adobe camera raw and Photoshop on a Sony Vaio ultrabook. I use a Wacom tablet for retouching and drawing on my computer.
What skills have you learnt along the way?
Over the years I've spent on visual art, I've learned how to:
1. Draw anything and any complexity
2. Take cool pictures of unusual angles.
3. Retouching
What advice would you give to a young creative?
The most important thing that I want to say to all authors, both beginners and experienced, is to strive to create something unique and with each new project to progress as much as possible. To do this, you have to be attentive to the details around you, but don't forget to try to look at what's going on in general.
