The
Adobe Design Achievement Awardscelebrate student achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts.
The competition, which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading
Adobecreative software, honours the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, developers and computer artists from the world‘s top institutions of higher education.
There are a total of 14 categories divided in three main segments:

Fine Arts•
Commercial•
Social ImpactContestants may submit up to three entries, per different category, for a maximum total of 42 possible entries per contestant. Submitted projects must have been created not earlier than
May 1, 2016.
The work must be created primarily (
50% or more) with the
Adobetools designated in each category and be accompanied by original digital files in
Adobesoftware if requested.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
Open worldwide to students 18 years or older enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education at time of entry.
Individuals residing in the following countries, states, and territories are excluded:
Brazil,
Northern Ireland, the
Province of Quebec, and the Indian state of
Tamil Nadu.
Prize
The top
five finalists in each design category or regionwill be announced in
August 2017. A Finalist may be either an individual or a group entry. From among the top five Finalists, each category or region will have one winner or one regional winner.
Category Winnerswho are individual entrants will receive a winner’s certificate and a 12-month Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps membership. Individual
Category Winnerswill also receive an invitation to attend the
Adobe MAX Conferenceheld in Las Vega, Nevada,
October 16 - 20, 2017.
Moreover, the individual
Category Winnerwill be provided with an
industry mentorwho specialises in a similar or related creative discipline. The industry mentor will guide the
Category Winnerthrough a series of five developmental goals intended to enhance the student’s ability for creative process, project outcome, and portfolio.
Special Designationsmay be awarded to participants who demonstrate remarkable expertise or innovation across any of the contest categories.
