Under the umbrella of the education section of the
International Statistical Institute, the International Statistical Literacy Project (ISLP) is pleased to announce the
International Poster Competitionfor
2014-2015.
The initiative aims to increase awareness of statistics among students and teachers throughout the world and to promote statistical literacy resources. The poster can be about any topic. However, the posters should reflect or illustrate usage analysis, interpretation and communication of statistics or statistical information.
There are two categories:

students born in 1999 and younger•
students born in 1996 and youngerPosters can be in any language, and must be the original design and creation of students. Posters have to be two-dimensional (
one single sheet) and one-sided. Maximum size is A1 (
841 mm x 594 mm or 33.1 in x 23.4 in) and maximum file size is 10 MB.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
The competition is open worldwide to teams of 2 to 3 students (
posters made by one student only are not eligible).
Prize
There will be a
National competitionwithin each country involved, followed by an
International competitionto determine the overall winners. These will be announced and the posters displayed at the
60th Congress of the ISIin Rio de Janeiro in Brazil during
July 2015.
