The Textile Society Bursaries and Awards 2015

is committed to supporting and developing the study of textiles in the UK.

are available in

, supporting internships or apprenticeships and BA or MA final year projects or dissertations. The judges are looking for projects that are viable and have vision.

Awards topic:

- study of Fine Art or Design with a textile/fashion bias.

This is deliberately broadly described to allow for all aspects of textile education. Students from any study area may respond to the topic. A project might be concerned with one or more study area, for example: Textile design, which could relate to art and design, or promotion and technology.

Funds for the bursaries are raised every year at antique textile fairs in

and

. The awards are announced at the

fair and there will be the opportunity for winners to exhibit at the 2015 fair.
