The Andrei Stenin International Photo Contest is an annual contest for young photojournalists aged between 18 and 33 years old. It is Russia’s only platform for discovering new photojournalists and for allowing them to make a name for themselves on the world photojournalism stage.
In 2021 around 4500 entries from 70 countries were submitted. Since its start in 2014 the contest has been exhibiting around the world, including Moscow, Cape Town, Budapest, Madrid, New Delhi, San-Donato-Milanese, New York, Ankara, Buenos Aires and other cities.
The contest has four categories:
Top News, Sports, My Planet, Portrait: A Hero of Our Time. Entries can contain a single photograph or series of no more than 12 photographs.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
Open to professional photographers aged between 18 and 33.
Prize
The Grand Prize winner will receive
700,000 RUB(approx. 9,520 USD)and the first place winner in each category will receive
125,000 RUB(approx. 1,700 USD).
