The EuroNatur Photo Competition 2026, titled “European Treasures of Nature,” is an international nature photography competition organised by the EuroNatur Foundation in collaboration with its European conservation partners. The competition focuses on showcasing the richness, beauty, and fragility of Europe’s natural heritage, encouraging photographers to capture compelling images of wildlife, plants, landscapes, and ecosystems found across the continent. By combining artistic photography with conservation awareness, the competition aims to highlight the importance of protecting Europe’s biodiversity and natural environments.

Open to both amateur and professional photographers, the EuroNatur Photo Competition serves as a prominent platform for nature photography in Europe. Participants are invited to submit photographs that authentically portray nature in its many forms, from iconic species and protected areas to lesser-known habitats and natural details. Submissions are evaluated by an expert jury with strong backgrounds in nature conservation, photography, and environmental communication, ensuring that both technical quality and conservation value are central to the judging process.

Beyond the competitive aspect, the EuroNatur Photo Competition plays a broader role in environmental education and advocacy. Winning and shortlisted images are widely disseminated through EuroNatur publications, partner organisations, exhibitions, online galleries, and the annual EuroNatur wall calendar, giving photographers international visibility while raising public awareness of Europe’s natural treasures. Through this combination of photography, storytelling, and conservation messaging, the competition reinforces EuroNatur’s mission to protect and celebrate Europe’s wildlife and natural landscapes.
