The Hasselblad Masters 2026 Photography Competition is a globally recognised, biennial photography award organised by Hasselblad, one of the most respected names in professional imaging. For the 2026 edition, photographers are invited to submit their strongest work across seven categories: Landscape, Portrait, Street, Architecture, Art, Wildlife and Project // 21, the latter dedicated exclusively to young photographers aged 21 and under. Submissions are judged on creativity, originality and execution, with no restriction on camera brand or format, reinforcing the competition’s inclusive and merit-based approach. Hasselblad Masters is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious photography competitions in the world, attracting thousands of high-quality entries from diverse cultural and creative backgrounds.

Eligibility
Open to photographers worldwide using digital or film cameras (excluding drone, smartphone or tablet cameras), with a special Project // 21 category for entrants aged 21 and under.
Prize
Winners in each of the seven categories receive the title of Hasselblad Master, a Hasselblad X2D II 100C camera, two XCD lenses of their choice, a €5,000 cash prize, and the opportunity to collaborate with Hasselblad on new work for the Hasselblad Masters Photography Book with selected images showcased across Hasselblad’s global channels, offering significant international exposure and professional prestige.
