The International Photographer of the Year creates new opportunities to showcase the best photographic work and introduce leading talents to the world of contemporary photography. It celebrates creativity, ambition and support artists to develop and present their work through competition.
There are six categories:
• Architecture
• Editorial
• Fine Art
• Nature
• People
• Open Category
There is no limit to the number of photos you can enter. Images entered in other competitions are eligible. Both published and unpublished work is accepted. Photoshop and post processing techniques are allowed, although within reason and taste.
Image files should be uploaded as JPG with 900 pixels along the longest length (minimum 700px). Do not include watermarks, borders or signatures on your entry.
Copyright of the images will remain at all times with the photographer.
Entry fee from 20 to 30 USD. Before 25 October 2015 there is a 5 USD discount.
Eligibility
Open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry.
Prize
Total prize pool worth 4,000 USD in cash.
Moreover, the overall winners, category winners and those that are commended will have their work showcased to a global audience.
