The

Kuala Lumpur International Photo Awards

is an annual global portrait photography competition. Now in its 14th year, it seeks fresh and innovative photography from new, emerging and established photographers from around the world.

This year's theme is HUMAN/NATURE. This is to be interpreted in the widest creative, philosophical, sociological senses. Photographers may submit up to 10 single images per entry. Multiple entries are allowed.

All photographs must have been taken between 2021 and 2022 or part of an on-going project. Basic darkroom techniques are permitted. Photographs can be Black and White or Colour, in any format.

The Photographer retains the copyright of all submitted images at all times.

Entry fees start at 15 USD per image.

Eligibility

Open worldwide to amateur and professional photographers. Entrants must be 16 years or over.

Prize

1st Prize: Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital Camera with RF24-105mm f/4.0 - 7.1 IS STM lens. Also, prize winners and top 40 finalists will have their images exhibited and promoted in Kuala Lumpur at partner venue sponsor.
