This is a special year for the Lucas Dolega Award as they are celebrating their 10th anniversary. The Award is intended to support and accompany freelance professional photographers who work to provide free and independent information.
Its essence is to reward a photographer who, through his personal commitment, his involvement in the field, his stances and the quality of his work, will have been able to demonstrate his attachment to freedom of information and democracy.
Each participant may submit up to three photo reportages completed between November 1st, 2019 and January 31st 2021.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
Open to all professional freelance photographers of all nationalities, without age restrictions.
Prize
The winner will receive 10.000 EUR, an exhibition in Paris, and a publication in the Reporters Without Borders photo album.
