Its essence is to reward a photographer who, through his personal commitment, his involvement in the field, his stances and the quality of his work, will have been able to demonstrate his attachment to freedom of information and democracy.
Each participant may submit up to 3 photo reportages completed between December 15th, 2020 and December 15th, 2021.
There is no entry fee.
Eligibility
Open worldwide to all professional freelance photographers. The term freelance is defined as a non-staff photographer, i.e. a photographer who does not work full time and exclusively for a press organisation.
Prize
The winner will receive
10.000 EUR(approx. 11,260 USD), an exhibition in Paris, and a publication in the Reporters Without Borders photo album.
