The 2026 AI Creativity Awards is now open for submissions, inviting creative work from around the world in which artificial intelligence materially contributes to the creative process. The international awards programme celebrates projects that are generated, assisted, manipulated, improved, questioned, or refined with AI while emphasizing human creative judgement. Submissions opened on June 1, 2026, and results are scheduled to be announced on December 1, 2026.

The competition spans eight categories: AI Image & Illustration, Motion & Film, Design & Brand Systems, Music & Audio, Writing & Narrative, Interactive & Experience, Fashion, Product & Spatial, and Responsible AI Creativity. Eligible work can use AI through prompting, generation, enhancement, editing, compositing, model-assisted workflows, or longer human-led processes, but every entry must clearly explain how AI contributed to the work.

Each submission requires an AI disclosure covering the tools or models used, generated or transformed elements, source material, and human authorship or direction. Entries are reviewed for creative ambition, execution, originality, category relevance, the quality of AI disclosure, and responsible handling of source material, giving creators a structured way to present both their finished work and the creative process behind it.

Entry fee: £25 GBP per submitted entry until September 1, 2026; £35 GBP per submitted entry until November 1, 2026; £15 GBP per submitted entry for current students and recent graduates who completed their course within 24 months of submission.
